2. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to lawfully consent to use online services where you live.

If the laws of your jurisdiction require you to be older than 13 to use qram.study without parent or guardian consent, then you may not use qram.study until you meet that higher age requirement.

qram.study is not intended for children who cannot lawfully consent to use the Service on their own. We do not knowingly allow such users to create accounts or use the Service.

If you believe a user who does not meet this requirement has provided information to qram.study, contact us at support@qram.study.

If you use a paid plan, we may collect or receive billing-related information, which may include:

Payment card details are processed by our payment provider. qram.study does not ask you to store full payment card numbers in Sets, term pairs, imports, support messages, or other study content. Official checkout and billing flows are separate from study content.

We may collect technical information automatically when you use the Service, such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;

6. Sensitive and private information

qram.study is a learning platform. It is not designed to store private, confidential, sensitive, regulated, or highly personal information in study content.

You should not include sensitive or confidential information in your Sets, term pairs, Global Sets, usernames, profile information, accepted alternatives, imports, or support messages.

Do not use qram.study study content to store or share:

  • Social Security numbers or government identification numbers;
  • financial account information;
  • payment card information;
  • passwords, secrets, keys, or credentials;
  • medical or health information;
  • legal case details or confidential legal information;

  • private communications;
  • information about another person without permission;
  • confidential business, school, employer, client, legal, or medical information;
  • any information that you are not allowed to use, publish, or share.

Official payment and billing flows may collect or process billing information needed to complete a purchase, manage a subscription, issue invoices or receipts, handle refunds or disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Those flows are separate from Sets, term pairs, imports, Global Sets, and other study content.

If you put private or sensitive information into study content or other places where qram.study does not ask for it, you do so at your own risk and in violation of the Terms of Service.

7. Public content and Global Sets

Sets are private by default unless you choose to publish or share them.

If you publish a Set as a Global Set, information associated with that Set may become public, including:

  • Set title;
  • Set description;
  • term pairs;
  • tags;
  • icons;
  • username or public author information;
  • publication status;
  • public Set metadata.

Public Global Set pages may be viewable by people without a qram.study account. Other users may preview and clone public Global Sets.

A Clone is an independent copy. If another user clones a Global Set, that cloned copy may remain in that user's account even if the original Global Set is later edited, unpublished, archived, or deleted.

Deleting, unpublishing, or changing the original Global Set may stop future public access or cloning, but it does not necessarily remove existing Clones from other users' accounts.

Do not publish private, sensitive, confidential, infringing, unlawful, or restricted information in Global Sets.

8. qram.study-created and AI-assisted content

qram.study may provide Global Sets created, curated, published, or made available by qram.study, including Sets published under qram-controlled creator identities such as qram-ai or qram.study.AI.

Some qram.study-created content may be created, reviewed, edited, classified, corrected, maintained, or improved with the help of AI, scripts, automated tools, manual review, or other content workflows.

We may use automated tools to help generate, classify, improve, review, or maintain qram.study-created content.

We may use feedback, reports, corrections, and support messages you send us to investigate suspected errors, improve qram.study-created content, correct Global Sets, improve quality processes, and respond to you.

We do not guarantee that AI-assisted or qram.study-created Sets are complete, accurate, current, suitable for a particular exam, or free of errors or omissions.

9. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain qram.study;
  • create and manage accounts;
  • authenticate users;
  • save Sets, term pairs, study progress, preferences, and history;
  • support Global Sets, public publishing, discovery, and cloning;
  • manage plan limits, entitlements, subscriptions, and account status;
  • process payments, invoices, receipts, refunds, disputes, and billing events;
  • send transactional notices, including account, security, billing, and subscription notices;
  • respond to support requests;
  • investigate and respond to reports about suspected content errors or quality issues;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, spam, fraud, scraping, security issues, payment issues, and misuse;
  • monitor performance and reliability;
  • detect bugs, crashes, and errors;
  • understand how the Service is used;
  • improve the user experience;
  • develop and improve features;
  • enforce the Terms of Service;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • protect qram.study, users, and the public.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand and improve the Service.

10. Analytics, diagnostics, and monitoring

qram.study may use analytics, logging, monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools to understand how the Service works, find bugs, detect errors, improve usability, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.

These tools may process information such as device information, browser information, usage events, logs, error reports, approximate location from IP address, and technical identifiers.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

11. AI-assisted content and private user content

qram.study may use AI or automated tools to create, review, classify, correct, or improve qram.study-created content, including qram.study Global Sets and Sets published under qram-controlled creator identities such as qram-ai or qram.study.AI.

qram.study does not use your private Sets, private term pairs, private accepted alternatives, or private study history to train generalized AI or machine learning models unless we clearly tell you and obtain any consent required by law.

This does not prevent qram.study from using automated systems to operate the Service, provide features you request, detect abuse, classify content, detect bugs, improve reliability, maintain security, or enforce the Terms of Service.

Public Global Sets may be reviewed, indexed, displayed, cloned, moderated, corrected, or otherwise processed as public content.

If you contact us to report an issue with qram.study-created content, AI-assisted content, or a Global Set, we may use that report to investigate the issue, improve the content, improve our quality processes, and respond to you.

12. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate qram.study, such as providers for:

  • hosting;
  • database storage;
  • authentication;
  • sign-in providers;
  • email delivery;
  • payments and billing;
  • subscription management;
  • tax calculation where applicable;
  • analytics;
  • diagnostics;
  • error monitoring;
  • performance monitoring;
  • security;
  • abuse prevention;
  • customer support;
  • legal and compliance support.

For example, qram.study may use providers such as Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and authentication, Stripe for payments and billing, Resend for transactional email, and Google or Apple for sign-in if those options are enabled.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to qram.study, subject to their own legal obligations and agreements with us.

When payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider, that provider may process payment, billing, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, subscription, and dispute information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

We may also share information:

  • if you publish content publicly;
  • if you direct us to share it;
  • to comply with law, legal process, or government requests;
  • to enforce our Terms of Service;
  • to detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, security issues, payment issues, or misuse;
  • to protect the rights, safety, and property of qram.study, users, or the public;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
13. Communications

We may send you transactional messages about your account, security, support requests, changes to the Service, legal notices, billing, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, payment issues, receipts, or invoices.

If qram.study later offers marketing emails, you may opt out of marketing messages. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional or administrative messages.

14. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate qram.study.

Some information may be retained after account deletion where necessary for:

  • legal obligations;
  • security logs;
  • abuse prevention;
  • backups;
  • billing, payment, invoice, tax, accounting, refund, dispute, or chargeback records;
  • dispute resolution;
  • protection of qram.study or other users;
  • records of public actions;
  • existing Clones created by other users from public Global Sets.

If you delete or unpublish a Global Set, future public access or cloning may stop, but existing Clones may remain in other users' accounts as independent copies.

Deleting your qram.study account may not automatically delete information held by payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, authentication providers, sign-in providers, or other service providers where retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, or operational reasons.

Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained and used without identifying you.

15. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.

No internet service is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

16. Your choices and requests

You may delete your account through the account deletion tools in the Service, or contact us to request help with access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information associated with your account.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@qram.study.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, security needs, abuse-prevention needs, payment or accounting obligations, technical limitations, backups, or the rights of others.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. qram.study will respond to applicable privacy requests as required by law.

17. International users

qram.study is operated from the United States.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where qram.study or its service providers operate.

Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Service, updating the "Last updated" date, or sending notice through the Service.

The updated Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Service after it becomes effective.
